Laura Philips:
Laura has lived in Brunswick all of her life and attended Brunswick High School. She graduated from Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College in 1986 with an associate degree in Veterinary Technology and became board certified that summer. After graduation, she worked with Dr. Billy Weeks and then Dr. Terry Nobles. Laura started working at Cheek to Cheek Hospital for Animals in April of 1994 when the practice opened. Her duties include lab work, anesthesia, dentals, radiography, and client education. She has one dog, Gracie, (a golden retriever) and 4 cats.
Cheryl Turner:
Cheryl has been with Cheek to Cheek Hospital for Animals since July of 1994. She began as a kennel assistant, but has worked her way into a veterinary assistant position, as well as being able to help out in all areas of the hospital. She has been married for 31 years and has two grown sons and four grandchildren. She also has a barn full of horses and two cats. Her hobbies include trail riding and timed running events with her horses.
Sandy Stokes:
Sandy has been with Cheek to Cheek Hospital for Animals since March of 1995. She is one of the full time receptionists on staff. She has been married for 15 years and has 3 children. She also has four dogs, one cat, and three horses. She is very passionate about animals and their care, as well as client interaction. She finds her job very rewarding.
Melissa Sarver:
Melissa has worked for Cheek to Cheek Hospital for Animals since June of 2004 as a part-time receptionist. She has four dogs and is attending Coastal Georgia Community College for a degree in Radiology.
Brandy Foster:
Brandy had been an assistant with Cheek to Cheek since March of 2006. She enjoys caring for our patients and their families. Her own pets include an American Bulldog named "Dolly Mae" and a cat named "Scooter."
